Every job in Charlotte gets priced both ways and you pay the lower one.
Per item. Published flat prices. A sofa is $126. A queen mattress is $103. A washer is $133. Carry-out from any floor is inside that number.
By truck fraction. Quarter $241, three-eighths $338, half $431, five-eighths $513, three-quarters $587, seven-eighths $661, full $732.
Itemizing is cheaper up to roughly six pieces. Past that, the truck ladder takes over. The minimum is $75 per visit, which covers the truck and crew crossing a metro that runs from Davidson down to Waxhaw.

No stair fee. No walk-up fee — relevant across the three-story garden complexes in University City and Steele Creek, where there is no elevator at all. No fee for a bonus-room carry. No fuel line. No disposal line. No same-day charge. No charge for issuing the certificate of insurance an Uptown or South End property manager asks for, or for booking the dock.
